Poll Results- “Nothing to worry about at Hendrick” April 1, 2008
Posted by claireblang in NASCAR Poll.trackback
The Question was: What level of concern do you have for what’s happening at Hendrick Motorsports so far in 2008?
The results are in, and it seems that most people feel it is best to be patient with the Hendrick camp.

We had participation even greater than Week #1. Thanks for chiming in!

I THINK MOST HMS FANS KNEW THERE WAS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!!
OF COURSE I’M A JR FAN AND HE’S DOING GREAT!!
The stats through the Bristol race show that HMS is not lagging:
Team Top 12’s percentage
Richard Childress: 13 top 12’s = 18%
Roush Fenway: 13 top 12’s = 18%
Hendrick: 12 top 12’s = 16.6%
Joe Gibbs: 11 top 12’s = 15.2%
Gillett Evernham: 6 top 12’s = 8.3%
Penske: 5 top 12’s = 6.9%
Red Bull: 3 top 12’s = 4.1%
Dale Earnhardt: 3 top 12’s = 4.1%
Yates: 2 top 12’s = 2.7%
Petty: 2 top 12’s = 2.7%
Ganassi: 1 top 12: 1.3%
Robby Gordon: 1 top 12: 1.3%
It may be the case that they just aren’t performing at last year’s (incredible) pace. But are they contenders? Absolutely. HMS has not gone anywhere — and will be contending week in and week out throughout the remainder of the season.
